Tyrone Lowe Jr. found his mother shot dead by his father before having to grapple with his father's 2015 suicide shortly after his mother's murder. However, the police are stepping in and standing by the 7-year-old, who has already lost so much, the Post reports.

This week, Tyrone was gifted a weeklong trip to Disney World and $5,000 for college by 49th Precinct officers. Tyrone was greeted at the precinct Thursday with hugs from Mickey and Minnie Mouse as he walked into the station house, which was decorated with balloons and Disney posters.

โ€œThey are great, they are awesome. Thank you, I love you. Thank you for all of the stuff that you gave me. I am so proud of you guys. Can I just say that I love you?โ€ Tyrone said, as he stood wearing a police cap and a shirt that readย โ€œCommanding Officer Tyrone Loweโ€ along with the precinct's number.

โ€œYou got godmothers and godfathers for the rest of your life in the 49th Precinct. Whenever you need any help, you come here,โ€ Anthony Vitaliano, chairman of Bronx Community Board 11 and a retired police lieutenant, told the young boy.

Since his parents' deaths, Tyrone has been in the care of his aunt, Annabelle Williams, who was present at the ceremony.

โ€œWe are invested in Tyrone. We are invested in his future. May God continue to keep him in his good graces, continue to bless you and we want you to be the best you can be,โ€ Capt. Keith Walton, the precinctโ€™s commanding officer, said.
