Black Stars’ Best Red Carpet Looks at the 2024 Academy Museum Gala

Taraji P. Henson, Tyler Perry and Andra Day deliver Black Excellence at the 2024 Academy Museum Gala.

The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures held its fourth annual Academy Museum Gala on Saturday (Oct. 19), and the biggest stars in Hollywood showed up and showed out. The event is a fundraiser for the museum, which features exhibits, props, costumes and screenings celebrating the history of cinema. If you’re in the Los Angeles area and love movie history, it’s absolutely worth a visit. Of course, you won’t have to break out your best designer fare…unless you want to.

Everywhere you looked, there was black excellence on display. Take a few moments away from a mundane workday and enjoy the best Black red carpet looks from the 2024 Academy Museum Gala.
