The answer to Cardi B’s forthcoming album entitled “AM I THE DRAMA?” may have just dropped according to a new announcement she made on Wednesday. And trust us — folks on social media are having a field day with this news.

As you know by now, there’s been rumors and speculation going around for months as to whether or not the “Bongos” rapper was potentially pregnant with her fourth child with her current boyfriend and NFL player Stefon Diggs.
During her viral court appearances, a handful of social media posts and public interviews, everything from her shape, stomach, and even down to the way she walked was heavily scrutinized by fans eager to know the truth.
And now, they would finally get their answer thanks to a new interview Cardi did with Gayle King. Sitting down to talk about her life as well as her upcoming project for “CBS Mornings” on Wednesday, King asked her if there was anything she wanted to address when it came to all the chatter about her welcoming another child into the world.
Cardi’s response?
“Well, yes. I am. I’m having a baby with my boyfriend Stefon Diggs…I’m actually very–I’m excited. I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work. But I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby,” she said.
She went on to express that she and Diggs are very “supportive” of each other and are in similar positions in their careers. Essentially, Cardi meant that they’re both of one of the best in their respective fields and are always looking for ways to be the top performers again and again. She also praised Diggs for making her feel safe, confident, and strong.
And while the news was a happy moment for Cardi to share, by the time her baby announcement hit the internet, folks were divided on how to feel. On the one hand, you had people who expected to hear this news yet still had positive things to say about the “Up” rapper.
“Delivering an insane rollout. insane fashion. multiple press appearances. winning a court case. about to deliver album of the year. ALL WHILST PREGNANT. Cardi B is the definition of hard working!” said another.
“Cardi b confirming her pregnancy wit stefon diggs is so funny. girl we seen you wearing a corset every public appearance for the last few months you not slick!! lmfaooooo” wrote one user on X/Twitter.
Over on YouTube, one other user noted: “One thing we know is Cardi is a GOOD mother and will take care of all her babies!!!”
On the other hand though, others had harsh criticism and words for Diggs and their impending new child.
“I love Cardi B but this is some ghetto ass shit. Pregnant while still married to someone else. The new BD has multiple kids. She’s too rich for this ghetto shit,” one other user wrote.
“Stefon Diggs got gay rumors, rape rumors, he’s a chronic cheater and just had a baby and Cardi B said “Yup, I’m getting pregnant by that man” She’s truly a BRONX bitch.. Dirty and FEARLESS,” said another.
“All babies are a blessing, but it’s a shame that Cardi didn’t wait to have her next miracle with a man who is devoted enough to marry her and stay faithful. I do wish her and her babies the best,” another wrote on YouTube.
One person even managed to rope in her soon-to-be ex-husband Offset–who’s she’s still in the middle of divorcing: “It’s too early for her to bring a baby into her life with this man and this doesn’t look good for her divorce.”
Regardless of where you stand, it’s clear the “Bodak Yellow” rapper is ready to welcome in another child. Here’s hoping the next handful of months, the album and the tour go smoothly given this gargantuan-level news!
