But it's the official account's recent post that's stirring up big trouble within the Black music world after one popular Usher song was used as background music.

The dramatic video montage captures the president's visit to the NATO summit... but what's more interesting is his choice to use Usher's "Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home)." Of course, Black folks had plenty to say on the matter, with most folks stunned by Trump's audacity.
@averymadeit tweeted in shock, "I beg your finest pardon???"
Another user, @samuelevels, said if this is the type of stuff our president is posting then "Thereโs no reason why I cant become president of America."
This isn't the first time Trump and his team have run with the "Trump is Daddy" narrative. Flashback to January when Fla. Rep. Byron Donalds went on Fox News declaring "Daddy's home" while referring to Trump's return to the White House. Six months later, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte talked about โDaddyโ discipline.
And now, the White House is tripling down. "America truly is a joke cause what is this," @Hon_Cholo tweeted.
"Usher's music being used in promo for Trump was never something any of us could have ever imagined," @Fahi_Types tweeted. "But in 2025 here we are."
@jamesjonesesq said when he saw the video, he couldn't imagine it actually was posted by the White House official page. "I thought one of yall made this video of Trump vibing to Usher. No, the White House made it."
Other folks nudged Usher to take immediate action against the president. "Send that letter expeditiously @usher," @Boogiebabyg wrote.
"Can we get a cease and desist promptly so this sh*t can be deleted IMMEDIATELY," @CoryReddL asked.
Others couldn't help but see the comedy in the post. "Like him or not, you gotta admit Trump is comedy on social media," @TrizzyDigital said.
Some folks called out the singer for not speaking up sooner. "Usher not sending Trump a gag order #noticing," @itsovermey tweeted. In his defense, the "Good Kisser" singer isn't known for speaking up and out in the face of politics. Maybe Trump's recent move won't be enough to get him talking.
@colormejassy asked, "Can Usher sue for this?! I feel like he needs to." So far, User hasn't responded to the president using his song for promo, but if he does, he'll join the long list of Black musicians who told Trump to stop bumping their songs.
