Jamie Foxx is back making waves. But this time around, it isn’t for some Golden Globe Award-nominated comedy special or a new project.

In fact, the beloved Foxx is getting dragged on social media for something we arguably all should’ve seen coming. As evidenced by a now-viral video posted by The Neighborhood Talk on Thursday, the “Any Given Sunday” star could be seen outside at rapper Gunna’s album release party recently. While that alone wasn’t cause for concern, what got people talking online were the passengers in his car–specifically the fact that they were all white women. From blondes to brunettes, the folks in Foxx’s entourage were clearly non-melanated, which is unfortunately par for the course for the Oscar-winning actor.
However, what got people upset was the fact that Foxx was seen outside with white women just eight months after he joked in his popular Netflix special “What Had Happened Was” that he was done messing around with white girls.
“Sisters, I’m here to tell you, I’ve been cured. I’ve been cured of everything, no more white girls. I’m serious, no more white girls,” Foxx said at the time.
He before later joked: “No more potato salad and raisins. No more white girls! No more spray tan, no more big titties, no ass! No more white girls! I gotta let ’em know! No more white women. Every month is February all year long. Hallelujah, no more honkies. No more white women, I’m back on the Black side of town…No more white girls…in public.”
While many knew he was joking at the time, even Foxx didn’t hold up on his alleged promise. Just a month after the special aired, Netflix dropped his latest action film…which featured him with a white wife (namely Cameron Diaz). Earlier this summer in July, there was viral footage that came out that showed Foxx bringing multiple white women onstage at an event he was hosting.
Now, with this new footage, his fans are calling him out once again for “playing in the snow.”
“At this point I’ve seen Joshua Jackson with more darkskin women than Jamie Foxx,” wrote one user on X/Twitter.
“If you lock Anthony Mackie & Jamie Foxx in a room but tell them a white lady is outside, only one of them is making it out alive,” said another, referencing Mackie’s own now viral pictures of him kissing a mystery white woman while filming in London.
“He was pandering on that Netflix special, yall go about your day…” one user wrote on Instagram.
“He better call Shannon Sharpe before he end up like him,” another user wrote, referencing Sharpe’s recent sexual assault scandal with a white OnlyFans model.
However, there were some fans who defended the “Ray” star.
“A lot of these BM in the industry need pointers from Jamie Foxx. He truly cracked the code of respecting his BW demographic of fans and curating black art while still having his…preferences and I honesty see nothing wrong with that,” one user wrote on Twitter.
“He can do whatever he wants. He has a preference without putting us down and I love him regardless,” said another on Instagram.
Added one other user on Instagram: “I don’t care about your preference just keep it cute when you see us.”
