Over the weekend, Beyoncé descended upon Paris, bringing her viral world tour to the City of Lights. While the show has only gotten better, there was something about these dates in the City of Lights that rose above the rest, leaving her stateside fans feeling some major "fomo."
Here are all the ways Beyoncé's Paris shows made the U.S. hive feel just a little jealous:
One Word: Jay-Z
On Sunday's show, Beyoncé shocked the entire audience and her fans at home when she brought out her husband and frequent collaborator out on stage at Stade de France in Paris. While Bey always performs her hit single "Crazy in Love" on this tour, she brought out Jay during his verse, and naturally, the crowd went wild. This was the first time the two have performed together in 7 years.
Jay Performs a Fan Favorite
Is there anything more iconic than performing "N****s in Paris" in Paris? After "Crazy in Love," Beyoncé left the stage while Jay performed his Grammy Award-winning hit record alone. The second the audience heard the beat drop, they went wild, jumping up and down to the perfect song to play in France's capital.
Drunk in Love & Partition
The fun didn't just stop there on Sunday's show. Bey also performed "Drunk in Love" and "Partition," two of her biggest hits from her self-titled album. "Drunk in Love" in particular has become a favorite for the hive, particularly after her live rendition from Dubai went viral.
Gorgeous Fits
Even the fits seemed to somehow level up in Paris? Yes, Paris is the fashion capital of the world, but the looks have even left some stateside fans feeling like they must have done something wrong. As one user said on TikTok, "what did the U.S. fans to deserve to be neglected like this?"
Bey rocked custom Mugler and Loewe looks during the Paris shows, truly pulling out all the stops and looking flawless in each and every one.
Juneteenth
The Paris fans even got the Juneteenth show, the hive was quick to point out! Now, that doesn't mean there weren't U.S. fans in the audience (with ticket prices the way that they are, it's become popular for American fans to travel to Europe to see their favorite acts), but still the fact that the Juneteenth show was anywhere but America, left many feeling left out, to say the least.
Miley Cyrus
Oh, and we didn't forget the other big guest she brought out during the Paris shows: the one and only Miley Cyrus. Performing their Grammy Award-winning duet off Cowboy Carter, "II Most Wanted," for the first time ever, the two broke the internet with their powerful rendition on night one.
Black Internet is Definitley Jealous
The takes on the internet have been nothing short of hilarious, as fans U.S. grieve over not getting to see these truly special Paris shows. One user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, "JAY Z !???!?!?!?? DRUNK IN LOVE ?!????? PARTITION ?!?!? PARIS WHEN I CATCH YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Another wrote, "Paris got Miley and Jay Z. You know what, Beyonce?… if you don’t like me, just say that because what the helly?"
The jealousy even went beyond just the U.S. fans. The London fans even had stuff to say on TikTok, wanting answers as to why the Paris shows were giving even more than the London shows, just days later. One user on TikTok hilariously asked her if it was because London failed the "mute" challenge.
These shows also have the hive thinking towards the future, especially as most of the fandom believe Bey still has one more "act" in this "Renaissance" era. Whenever the next tour is, the Beyhive will certainly be rushing to get Paris tickets. As one user wrote on X, "Getting tickets for the act iii tour in Paris is going to be a blood bath."
