According to new court documents obtained by PEOPLE on Thursday, Chynaβs ex and rapper Twin Hector (legally Taiyon Hector) is alleging that the model and reality TV star βphysically and verbally abused himβ over the course of their three-year-long relationship. He is suing for domestic violence, civil assault and battery and is seeking over $10 million in damages.
For context, the two met back in 2020 and began living together not too long after. Since then, Twin alleged that he was subjected to βviolent outburstsβ from Chyna (legally Angela White), which he claimed were largely a result of her heavy drinking and excessive drug usage.
The suit also notes one particular instance in 2021 where he was allegedly attacked in his sleep by Chyna with βmultiple closed-fisted punches, elbow blows, and knee kicks to his body and face.β
This assault left him βvirtually blindedβ with multiple injuries to his body and face including a swollen eye and several gashes. Following the attack, Twin said that Chyna called her personal doctor to come and remedy him with the health professional suggesting he see a βplastic surgeon, an ophthalmological surgeon, a neurologist and a psychiatristβ to truly fix his wounds. He also provided a photo of his face from the night of the alleged attack to TMZ.
Additionally, Twin said that the abuse he endured at the hands of Chyna ultimately caused him to suffer from βsevere insomnia and PTSD,β and that over the duration of their relationship, sheβd given him: βa broken nose, deep cuts on his face, a scar on his eyelid, whiplash, nerve damage, daily headaches and insomnia.β
While the allegations are shocking, Twin made it clear in the suit that he loved Chyna and encouraged her to get help but it ultimately fell on deaf ears. The suit also claimed that Chyna would βtry to strangle himβ and use household objects as weapons such as wires, furniture, cell phones and kitchen utensils. (The strangulation claim sounds oddly familiar to the ones made by Rob Kardashian, Chynaβs other ex and the father of her seven-year-old daughter Dream, who alleged Chyna βstrangled him with a phone cord while she was doing cocaine and drinkingβ and held a gun to his head in April 2022.)
Twin also that noted in the suit that he believes Chyna suffered from violence anger due to her abusive relationship with alcohol over the years and hopes that the suit will prevent her from enacting such violence again. The two have been broken up since March 2023.
In a statement to TMZ, Twinβs lawyer Kirk Edward Schenck, said:
βIt is a shocking experience for any man to go through β being attacked by a female aggressor in a domestic violence context and knowing they cannot fight back or even defend themselves for fear of being mislabeled (falsely) the de facto aggressor. Every day in America men suffer what are often brutal injuries, but many lack the courage to come forward and protect their legal rights. Our client is willing to stand up and seek protection under Californiaβs Domestic Violence Protection Act β which applies to all genders. He hopes other non-female victims of domestic violent crime will feel free to do the same.β
Blac Chyna has yet to comment on the matter.
