Well, that’s a wrap on the 2024 award season. Black people didn’t win everything, but we showed out on the red carpet.

Although we normally highlight the ladies’ red carpet fashion (and deservedly so), we also think it right to highlight some of the men who put together some nice fits while having their talents recognized.
These are the best-dressed Black men of the 2024 awards season.
Colman Domingo
Let’s be honest, Colman Domingo won awards season when it came to the fits. Every time he stepped at anything, he was likely the best dressed there, and he’ll continue to be that as long as he is an incredible actor.
Tyler James Williams
Who knew Tyler James Williams’ had style like this? I guess the success of “Abbott Elementary” has brought it out of him. This suit he wore at the 2024 Emmys particularly stands out.
John Boyega
I love a good groutfit (grey outfit). It’s not white, it’s not black — it’s something in the middle.
Damson Idris
Clean and simple is always a great way to go when attending an award show, but going with the normal black tux can sometimes be boring. It’s nice to sometimes switch it up, and Damson Idris did that here.
Lenny Kravitz
Lenny Kravitz is a style icon. He has influenced the way several men have dressed over the years. So it’s no surprise he showed out at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
Shameik Moore
We love a good cream suit and Spider-Man definitely came with a nice one at the 2024 Oscars.
Babyface
Red on red is sometimes a risky move. It can sometimes be too loud for the occasion. But in this case, Babyface did his thing. The flared pants are a nice touch.
Jon Batiste
Jon Batiste had a couple of nice showings during the 2024 award season, but this one at the Oscars is the best. Again, it’s nice when someone wears something other than Black at the Academy Awards.
Dwyane Wade
Not one of Wade’s best outfits, but it’s still a nice solid one to step out at the Oscars after-party.
Ncuti Gatwa
This is light work for Ncuti Gatwa. He’s worn more original outfits, but we can’t fault him for this clean and simple look at the 2024 Oscars.
21 Savage
This is an all-Black suit with some flair. The gold adds a little pop to the outfit, making this a good look for the Atlanta rapper.
Sam Richardson
This was one of the underrated outfits during award season. The texture of this jacket makes this suit a great red carpet look.
Blitz Bazawule
Beanies at award shows are fun! Reminds me of when Mahershala Ali won his second Oscar. The texture all over this suit is perfect, adding some flair to the look.
Donald Glover
Donald Glover has always had an affinity for the 1970s, so it’s cool to see him show it off through his unique fashion.
Jeffrey Wright
Jeffrey Wright was one of the many darlings during award season. His performance in “American Fiction” was vulnerable, unique, and genuine. Although he’s not known as a “fashionista,” this clean burgundy fit at the SAG Awards was great.
