According to GQ, on the night of Obama’s State of the Union address in January, Carson implied that the president was a psychopath as he critiqued the speech from the Capitol Hill home of black conservative Armstrong Williams, his unofficial political adviser.

“He looks good,” Williams pointed out, according to the site. “He looks clean. Shirt’s white. The tie. He looks elegant.” “Like most psychopaths,” Carson responded. “That’s why they’re successful. That’s the way they look. They all look great.”

Later on, Carson went in on the president’s speech, claiming that he was feeding the American people “a lie.”

“He’s trying to sell what he thinks is not true! He’s sitting there saying, ‘These Americans are so stupid, I can tell them anything,’” Carson said.
