On Tuesday police swooped down on Gladys Knight’s Chicken & Waffles chain of restaurants in metro Atlanta, according to WSBTV. Knight’s son Shanga Hankerson, who owns and operates the three restaurants, is the target of a $1 million tax investigation by the Georgia Department of Revenue, the news station reports.
