The pilot gave a heartwarming interview with his daughter, Corinne, when he touched back down, which folks on social media loved. Now, videos of the warm welcome Glover got from his neighbors are going viral on social media, leaving viewers smiling from ear to ear.
Escorted by a police car, Glover is chauffeured in a tinted-out van, greeting his neighbors as they wave American flags, hold up signs and clap for the Howard alum.

“Some of us have never met before, and you know whose fault that is? Ours,” Glover said. “So let’s choose to do this. Let’s be like this more. Let’s be neighbors. I don’t know if you heard me say it, but God told us to love him with all that we are and love our neighbors as ourselves.”
As he finished his speech, Glover told his neighbors he loved them to a touched and clapping crowd. In the comments of the video, folks wrote that it made them happy to hear the wise words from Glover.
“The current state of EVERYTHING has been so heavy on me. THIS has really brought me so much joy and enlightenment. I’m truly moved by his astonishing accomplishment and character,” commented one user.
