An Inside Look at ‘The Real’ Adrienne Bailon-Haughton’s Cozy NY Home

From the high ceilings to the sun-filled rooms, these are some of our favorite spaces in the Houghton home.

One thing we love is peeking inside fabulous celebrity homes. So we couldn’t wait to check out the New York retreat shared by Adrienne Bailon-Houghton, former Disney star and co-host of “The Real,” and her husband, Grammy award-winning gospel singer Israel Houghton. So when the couple opened their New York home to fans on her YouTube channel, Love Always, Adrienne, we had to check it out.

The video, which has received over 716,000 views and 24,000 likes since it was posted on August 2, is a love letter to the bright, warm family home the couple designed to be filled with laughter and love.

From the high ceilings and grand staircases to the warm fireplaces and sun-filled rooms, these are some of our favorite spaces in the Houghton home.

The Foyer

Adrienne says she and Israel love a grand entrance, which is why they immediately fell in love with the staircase in the foyer of their home – especially the built-in bench at the base of the stairs.

After refinishing the wood and adding the rod iron to give it a more modern feel, Adrienne says it turned out “pretty cool.”

Dining Room

Although most people love hanging out in the kitchen of the Houghton home, the dining room has plenty of space for all of their guests – and a beautiful table that steals the show.

The Great Room

The dining room opens up into the great room, which Adrienne says was one of the biggest selling points of the house. Details like the ceiling beams and the limestone fireplace that goes up the entire wall, make it a beautifully creative open space.

The Office

Adrienne says she loves the “old money, old world vibes” that come through in the home’s office space. The rich dark wood and the green marble fireplace are her favorite features in the room.

Family/Piano Room

A set of pocket doors in the office opens up into this bright open living space they call their “family/piano room.”

The Houghton’s home is full of fireplaces, but the one in the great room is particularly special. They renovated the stone, which Adrienne says “looked like pink sherbet” to a more neutral style they designed themselves. Above the fireplace is a Samsung frame tv which doubles as a work of art when the family isn’t watching their favorite shows.

The Kitchen

The kitchen is the heart of the Houghton home and where they say they did the most renovation work – from the cabinets to the flooring. If you thought that was an island in the middle, you’re wrong. It’s actually a table that can be moved in or out of the space as needed.

Breakfast Nook

There are so many great spaces to gather in this home. The breakfast nook is a cozy little corner that is filled with sunlight.

Hallway Mirror

If you follow Adrienne on social media, you’ve probably seen her taking selfies in front of this massive antique mirror. It sits in the hallway between two chic wall sconces – the perfect place to check out her ‘fits before leaving the house.

The Master Suite

The master suite is massive and includes a well-lit dressing table, a fireplace and custom-made bed.

On the other side of the master suite is a sitting area Adrienne says she and Israel love to use when trying on outfits before going out.

Master Bathroom

The master bathroom is a chic oasis that includes double sinks with gold fixtures, a seated shower and a separate water closet for maximum privacy.

One of the highlights of the master bathroom is a gigantic soaking tub that is perfect for relaxing.

Playroom

Adrienne says she loves co-sleeping with her kids, so the room that was designed to be her son Ever James’ bedroom is more of a playroom for him to hang out with his toys.

The Houghtons love having friends and family around, and this guest suite is so inviting guests may never want to leave.
