August 14 marks Halle Berry‘s 59th birthday! And while she may be turning another year older, we’re all collectively confused at just how she seems to be aging backwards day by day.

Think about it, this woman has been fine as wine since she came on the scene decades ago and it’s no wonder why rappers tend to name drop her in their songs (looking at you Hurricane Chris.) To take it a step further, the Cleveland native is so gorgeous that any moment she pops up onscreen, we know we’re about to see some good acting and a good snatched moment from her.
So in honor of her birthday, we rounded up a handful of the times where she looked good onscreen. Keep reading to get into the goodness!
“The Flintstones”
We’ve never seen leopard print look so good if we’re keeping it a buck. It’s crazy to think she had never played a sexy role before this because she definitely sold it!
“Jungle Fever”
Even though she was playing a crackhead, she is arguably the most beautiful crackhead we’d ever seen onscreen. Seriously!! Take that dirt and grime off of her and you’re looking at a true pageant winner.
“Die Another Day”
Two words: Orange. Bikini.
“Catwoman”
As far as we’re concerned, Halle Berry’s Catwoman is the only one that really matters, no shade to Zoe Kravitz or Michelle Pfeiffer. We don’t care what the Golden Raspberry Awards (a parody award show that honors the worst of cinematic failures) said, she looks damn good in this and that makes her a winner!
“Boomerang”
Halle Berry and Eddie Murphy playing love interests is one thing, but seeing her with that fire, short, pixie cut had us seriously swooning. It takes somebody with a gorgeous face to pull off a pixie and Berry definitely has one.
“X-Men”
While Berry’s performance as Storm may not have been everyone’s cup of tea, seeing her in that black leather fit and icy white blonde hair was a true vision! You’ve got to give it to her.
“Their Eyes Were Watching God”
Berry’s role as Janie Crawford is one of her most slept on roles. Not only did she do a fantastic job of bringing an iconic Zora Neale Hurston character to life, but she did so while looking so, so pretty.
“Monster’s Ball”
Naturally, Berry’s Oscar-winning role in “Monster’s Ball” was going to make this list. It got her the gold after all!
“Introducing Dorothy Dandridge”
The uncanny resemblance between Berry and Dorothy Dandridge aside, seeing her dressed up in this 50’s aesthetic really highlights just how amazingly beautiful she is.
“B*A*P*S”
Even when she’s ghetto fabulous like in “B*A*P*S,” Berry is still astoundingly astonishing. We’ve never wanted to be a gold nail or a gold tooth so bad.
“John Wick 3: Parabellum”
There’s nothing hotter than seeing women kick ass and take names. But watching Halle Berry do it while shooting guns and looking like a total badass? That’s EXTREMELY HOT.
“Dark Tide”
Another one of her lowkey films that didn’t get much play, “Dark Tide” is worth the watch simply because of how snatched she looks in a bathing suit. Halle, drop the workout routine, sis!
