Social Media Split After Bishop T.D. Jakes Retires from The Potter’s House

Pariah’s Rob Morgan and The Wire’s Julito McCullum star in Muhammad’s new Web series, Redemption, for Colored Boys, which zeros in on a man’s efforts to gel back into the family picture after a nine-year prison stint. Benjamin Boyd Sr.’s (Morgan) family is not so accepting of his efforts to reclaim the role of husband and father, especially Eric (McCullum), who is now a 20-year-old man-child.

In the first episode of the season, we are introduced to Boyd’s wife (Tiye Phoenix), who shows her reluctance to let her husband back into her home; Eric’s protective side when it comes to his sister, Sidney; and the uncomfortable friction between a longing father and his bitter son.
