Outside of hearing an AI version of his voice on Drakeβs βTaylor-Made Freestyleβ diss towards Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg has been relatively quiet when it comes to the feud between the two rappers. Until now.
While he didnβt take sides or choose a winner, in a new interview with βEntertainment Tonight,β he credited both rappers for βraising the barβ as it relates to putting out real music with impressive lyricism and production. He also said both heavyweights have upped the ante for fellow artists to where they can no longer skirt by doing βmumble rap.β

βThe only thing I want to say about that whole scenario is that I want to give both of them a shout-out for raising the bar as far as lyrics, as far as song-making and writing,β the βGin and Juiceβ rapper explained. βBecause the writing has been upped since the confrontation or whatever you call it, whatever they went through.β
He went on to share:
βThose are my nephews. Iβm not in the middle of it. I support both of them and thatβs personal business, not my business. As far as what they did for the industry and the rap game, they made you rap again. You canβt mumble your way and gimmick your way to a song no more, buddy. So, thank yβall.β
The beef between Kung-Fu Kenny and Drizzy Drake definitely seems to be quieted down, even though Drake attempted to address MetroBoominβs diss just last week with his verse on Sexxy Redβs recently released single βU My Everything.β
Though, with βBBL Drizzyβ and βThey Not Like Usβ still getting radioplay and popping up all over social media videos, there was really no need for him to egg this thing on any further.
