Kelly Price came for the trolls—and she didn’t hold back. The R&B legend slammed Black women for being “nasty and disrespectful” in her comments section, but made it clear she’ll keep cashing checks no matter her looks or what she’s wearing.

Kelly Price came for the trolls—and she didn’t hold back. The R&B legend slammed Black women in the comments section for being “nasty and disrespectful.” Despite blacking out on folks during her instagram live, the singer—known for her Christian and gospel image—didn’t forget to apologize for “cussing” along the way.

Price first addressed men who feel entitled to disrespect her, coming for those who left “nasty and hurtful” comments under one of her videos. She then turned her fire toward “women activists” and “DEI hires,” asserting they won’t have jobs while she’s out selling out theaters and making money. Her words came with a harsh reminder that before she was saved, she was a “Black girl born and raised on the South Side of Jamaica, Queens.”

“Yes, I’m letting you have it right now. ’Cause ain’t nothing you can do about that. And while you looking for a new job, I’m still gon’ be selling out theatres and venues, looking like a ‘fat slob’ in clothes that you said I ‘look nasty in.’ And my feet are ‘so damn big,’ and ‘who dressed me?’ I’m still gonna be making my money,” Price spat.

“I don’t even do this. But I’m so sick of Black people, and their bullshit!” she exclaimed. “Black women, you are some of the most nasty, disrespectful people on God’s planet earth,” she said, addressing those claiming to be “activist and educated.”

“Find yourself, cause a degree does not give you class. Find yourself, cause a degree ain’t gon’ get your stupid ass into heaven,” she continued, taking aim at Black women’s rates of higher education. “Find yourself. Being a keyboard thug on social media ain’t gon’ do nothing but get your ass whipped when somebody walk up on you,” she warned.

The comment section sparked all the drama, and fans quickly weighed in.

“The ones who talk the most almost never have room to do so. You are loved! F them!” one fan wrote. “Honestly, EVERYTHING she said is what needed to be said! We have to stop this ugly mentality movement because it’s not getting us anywhere!” a second added.

Meanwhile, others were less impressed with her hostility.

“You do know that the main people that purchase your music and go to your shows are BLACK WOMEN? You do know that black women are not DEI hires because they are the most educated women in the world? Pls do better and think before you talk,” one fan contested.

Some even referenced her past reputation, likely alluding to her explosive time on the 2013 series “R&B Divas.”

“I’m not gon lie I heard you were a really mean lady,” one noted. Another brought up her reported disappearance in Atlanta in 2021: “Kelly, where were you that time you were missing?”

The singer has yet to respond to any fan commentary.
