Taraji P. Henson is ushering in the month of October with a brand new look–but we don’t mean a new hairdo or any sort of dramatic weight loss. We’re actually talking about her home in California that recently underwent a whole new redesign thanks to Robin and Regina Reaves, the husband and wife duo behind R&R Interior Design 365!

Who Are the Designers?
Robin and Regina started R&R Interior Design 365 as a way to combine their nearly three decades worth of knowledge, love and expertise in real estate, interior design, and property management. While they’ve previously worked on countless luxury homes, getting the call from an Oscar-nominated actor like Henson would prove to be the ultimate job and a dream come true.
“Taraji has been a dream collaborator–gracious, open, deeply intentional, and genuinely one of the kindest souls we’ve encountered. Her bold and brilliant energy guided every step of this process,” the couple said on their official TikTok page showing a bit of the reveal of Henson’s home.
Now, let’s get into this fabulous pad!
Family Room
The biggest highlight of this room for us aside from how cozy this new couch looks has got to be the Alvin Ailey wallpaper. How creative and unapologetically Black is that? It’s so creative and clean.

When you’re a big star like Henson, you’ve got to find some place to store your numerous awards. What better area than the family room to put them on display and serve as an easy conversation starter for visitors?
Kitchen
There’s something about black, white and gold accents in a kitchen that just screams “You can cook here and look good while doing it.” And that’s exactly what we want to do just by looking at this space!

In this secondary view of the kitchen, we can see that in addition to looking good, this space also has an ample amount of storage and counter space–which would make for cooking for a large group easier!
The “Speakeasy” Formal Living Room
Dubbed the “speakeasy” due to the inclusion of the bar and a music corner (not pictured), the living room is definitely a top space for entertaining and fun nights in.
Bar
Speaking of that previously mentioned bar, the set up here is truly reminiscent of those old school bars from yesteryear. It’s such a smooth, classic vibe.
Dining Room
We don’t know what we love most in this dining room: the amazing marble table, the chandelier, or the jewel-tone green on the wallpaper? It’s truly a remarkable room!

You already know we had to get a closer look at the wall designs and wow, did they not disappoint. The Blackity-blackness of this space feels like a warm hug and an ode to Black women all in one. Love this!
TPH by Taraji Work Office
Now this is what you call an office! Her haircare line TPH by Taraji P. Henson is already so successful, but this new working space just might help her creative juices flow to where she can bring in even more revenue!
Master Bedroom
The color scheme in Henson’s bedroom is equal parts grown and sexy, but also feminine and flirty. We’re totally here for it and that blue couch.

Backyard Pool
The sunset got most of the view here but from what we can see, the pool and lounging areas look like the perfect space to unwind after a hectic day.
