Authorities confirmed Monday that they have charged seven people in connection with the murder of a Georgia lottery winner during a home robbery in January, Fox News reports.

Ben Hill County, Ga., sheriff’s officials announced that 22-year-old Rosalyn Swain, 24-year-old Keyana Dyous, 21-year-old Anjavell Johnson, 27-year-old Earnest Holcombe, 19-year-old Dabrentise Overstreet, 28-year-old Nathaniel Baker and a 17-year-old who remains unidentified because he is a juvenile were all charged with malice murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery and possession of a firearm during a crime.
On Jan. 20, three masked men kicked down the door of Craigory Burch Jr.’s residence demanding money. Burch had won $434,272 in November 2015 in the Georgia Lottery’s Fantasy 5 game. Burch was apparently holding his 2-year-old when the robbers busted in.
Jasmine Hendricks, Burch’s girlfriend, told news station WALB that the father pleaded with the robbers, telling them, “Don’t do it, bro. Don’t do it in front of my kids. Please don’t do it in front of my kids and old lady. Please don’t do that, bro. Please don’t.”
According to Hendricks, Burch threw his pants to the robbers, who later shot and killed him after they could not find his wallet and then ran away.
Sheriff Bobby McLemore told reporters Monday that more arrests were expected to come in the case and that the investigation was ongoing.
