Even though heโs one of (if not) the biggest trolls in hip-hop today, 50 Cent is a helluva businessman, who is always looking for new business ventures.

His muses for the last decade have been the shows he created with television network Starz, including โPower,โ โPower Book II: Ghost,โ Power Book III: Raising Kanan,โ โPower Book IV: Forceโ and โBMF.โ
The crime-drama franchise was created with the help of 50 Centโs production company, G-Unit Film & Television Inc., making the Queens MC one of the most successful Black creators in the TV business.
Although heโs already enjoyed immense success in the industry, he plans on taking his production company to the next level.
It may look like 50 Cent is planning to be Tyler Perryโs biggest rival, but we believe he has only taken inspiration from him.
Although fans have already joked the Queens rapper is the new Tyler Perry, he hasnโt shied away from the comparisons. In an interview with Shreveport Times, he said that his G-Unit Studios will โmirrorโ the studio Perry has in Atlanta.
In the past, heโs even come to the defense of Perry. When fans joked that heโs the โmaleโ Tyler Perry, the biggest troll in Hollywood didnโt take the bait. Instead, he responded with an Instagram post that read, โTyler will f**k yall up he ainโt no sucker. Donโt get it f****d up now!โ
He even responded to the article youโre reading right now on Instagram, writing in the caption, โYes Iโm doing great but youโre getting it fvcked up, if you think me and Tyler will be at odds at any point. Heโs helping me, already going out of his way to aid my progress. So in the nicest way cut the shit !
So it seems if anything, Fiddy wants to exist in the same realm as Perry and has hopes of creating an empire just as successful. Thereโs no rivalry. Itโs all love.
In April, the MC took a page out of Tyler Perryโs book and officially announced the launch of his G-Unit Film Studio in Shreveport, La.
His business relationship with the city began in November 2023, when the Shreveport City Council agreed to introduce legislation that would allow 50 Centโs G-Unit Film & Television Inc. to lease Millennium Movie Studio as a base for his company, according to KSLA.
Although the move to house his film studio in Shreveport is meant to grow his entertainment empire, heโs also doing it to help the Shreveport community.
Last week, Fiddy shared a โthree-phase planโ for him to invest in Shreveport that will help build the cityโs economy, according to KTAL,
Gerod Durden, the real estate broker assisting 50-Cent, told KTAL, โHe is very passionate about the city. I would say 10 or more properties that weโve already closed a few of this week. Itโll be an additional 10 or so. These are all-cash offers. You know, there, thereโs quite a few entertainment spots for not only adults and kids.โ
He continued, โHeโs bringing a big jump park here. I mean, itโs a substantial size park. Weโre looking at a grocery store in the immediate downtown Shreveport area, and those are ideas that we come up with together with the whole team. What can help the community?โ
Orville Hall, the Growth Advisor for G-Unit Film Studios, also told the local news station that they have plans to help families get mortgages and create media programs for high schools in the area.
