2026 Golden Globes Red Carpet Fashion Trainwrecks

The 83rd Annual Golden Globes on Sunday night brought together stars globally to celebrate their quality film and TV work. Beyond the awards, a highlight for viewers is always the incredible—and occasionally questionable—fashion showcased. After spotlighting the red carpet’s biggest hits, we now turn our attention to the stars whose looks fell a little flat.

Justin Sylvester

Justin Sylvester, co-host of E!’s “Daily Pop,” saved us from seeing just another boring black suit on the carpet, but unfortunately, this one looks far too tight.

Maya Rudolph

We love you Maya Rudolph, but our girl arrived in a dress that looked as if she had found it in the back of her wardrobe. You could have put in a little more effort, Ms. Rudolph.

Skylar Diggins

We did not need the blue train on WNBA icon Skylar Diggins’ black sparkly dress. This could have been an easy fix, but hey, at least the body’s tea.

Emily Blunt

Emily Blunt must have posed like a statue all night because her dress looked incredibly stiff. Elegant? Sure. Comfortable? We don’t think so!

Omar Benson Miller

Omar Benson Miller, of “Sinners” fame, chose a disappointingly safe, plain black suit. His attire was more suitable for the church deacon’s bench than for Hollywood’s most prestigious awards ceremony.

Simon Franglen

British composer Simon Franglen, who has composed scores for iconic films like “Friday (1995)” and “Avatar (2009),” tried to spice up his plain black suit with a bright orange and blue scarf, but it did not serve the way he might have hoped. You can always try again next year, Franglen!

Janelle James

Orange is absolutely “Abbott Elementary” star Janelle James’ color, but this dress looks like a last-minute “I’ll throw on what I have” situation.

Janine Rubenstein

If PEOPLE Editor-at-large Janine Rubenstein were not dazzling the camera with her smile, her dress would have blended right into the carpet, because this is some incredible camouflage.

Leslie Mann

Leslie Mann must have taken inspiration from French mimes for her look because there is no other way to explain those gloves.

Wanda Sykes

Wanda Sykes no doubt did a terrific job of cracking people up during the ceremony, but she did not do a great job of ironing her suit. It’s crease city over here.

“The Bear” star Lionel Boyce should have stopped by the tailor before strolling onto the red carpet because his suit looked ill-fitting.

Emma Stone must have had the same stylist as Emily Blunt because this plain top looks like it was made out of cardboard.

Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester was one of the fashion girls during her “Gossip Girl” days, but she did not channel that energy into her Golden Globes look. The sparkles and bright yellow wrap on this dress clash in a way her character, Blair, would not approve of.

Zoë Kravitz

Did Zoë Kravitz plan on taking a nap halfway through the awards show? This dress is very much giving nightgown.

Chase Infiniti

Chase Infiniti dazzled the camera with this shimmery look, but this dome does not look practical at all. How did she manage to walk through the doors to get into the show?
