It’s been another great year for sneakerheads of all different ages. There was something for everyone this year, whether you’re a hooper, a fashionista or an OG who only wants the classics.
While this list is dominated by Jordans and Nikes, other brands like Adidas, New Balance, Asics, and Saucony also released some heat this year.bHere are the 15 shoes sneakerheads loved in 2024.
Adidas AE 1

Yes, we’re starting this list with a sneaker from Adidas. One of the biggest stars of the past year in professional sports has been Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards. He’s been exciting on the court and even more entertaining off of it. He also introduced his first signature sneaker, the Adidas AE1. The slick design makes it one of the most sought-after shoes for hoopers and makes them feel like they play just like the man himself.
Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement”

This classic Air Jordan made a huge return in 2024. Michael Jordan wore these shoes the night after winning the dunk contest in 1988 at the All-Star Game. He dropped 40 points and took home the MVP. All while wearing this sneaker.
Air Jordan 4 “Military Blue”

Even though Jordan never wore these on the court, they are still an OG colorway, making them a must-have for sneaker lovers.
Air Jordan 4 “Bred Reimagined”

This 1980s Air Jordan classic also returned in 2024 but with new material. Instead of the classic nubuck, the upper of this shoe used leather.
Wu-Tang Nike Dunk

Although this may look like a regular Nike Dunk high, that “W” on the side of the sneaker changes everything. This sneaker was originally made in 1999, only for members of the Wu-Tang Clan. But in 2024, Nike decided to bless fans and release it to the public.
Joe Fresh Goods New Balance 1000

Chicago designer Joe Fresh Goods continues to be consistent with his collaborations with New Balance. Although this colorway is technically called “Black Ice,” this sneaker is just perfect to pair with your fall and winter clothing.
Action Bronson New Balance 1906R

Action Bronson entered the sneaker world and created a beautiful shoe with New Balance. This 1906R is just as unique and colorful as the Queens rapper’s personality.
Jae Tips Saucony

Saucony is often overlooked by sneakerheads, but those in the know loved this shoe. This collaboration with Jae Tips is another colorful sneaker that is perfect if you can wear it in the summer.
Nike Kobe 4 “Girl Dad”

Nike released this classic sneaker in a unique colorway to honor the strong bond the late Kobe Bryant had with his four daughters Natalia, Gianna, Bianka, and Capri.
Nike Air DT Max 96

The timing of this release couldn’t be better. A year after blasting onto the college football scene, Nike released Deion Sanders’ signature trainer. This shoe was a hit with football fans in the mid-90s and reintroduced to younger football fans this year.
Bode Nike Astro Grabber

If you’re wondering why this shoe looks like something football players wore 50 years ago is because it was originally released in 1974. Although this may look like nothing special, this sneaker was extremely limited and coveted by fashion lovers everywhere.
Nigel Sylvester Air Jordan 4 RM

Nike is picky about who they allow to create a unique sneaker. So it speaks to Nigel Sylester’s impact and influence in recent years to create this cool spin on the Air Jordan 4.
A Ma Maniére Air Jordan 4

A Man Maniére has been consistently putting out solid Air Jordan collaborations for the past half-decade and did it again in 2024 with this uniquely colored Air Jordan 4.
Travis Scott Jordan CJ1 T-Rexx
Travis Scott’s every move is hyped by his fans, especially his collaborations with Nike. This time, he didn’t design a retro and opted to create his own signature sneaker for fans. It includes everything snakeheads have gotten used to with Scott including the reverse swoosh and earthy colorway.
Stefon Diggs Asics Gel-Nimbus

NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs repped his love of Asics so much that he was able to snag his own collab with the brand. Raised in the DMV, where Asics are extremely popular, this marriage was a match made in heaven.
