Eboni K. Williams

Eboni K. Williams, the fearless “Real Housewives of New York City” star and TV host, welcomed her daughter Liberty Alexandria Williams after a successful journey through IVF and a sperm donor, per PEOPLE. Calling her little girl “my remarkable miracle,” Williams told the outlet that despite the help of IVF, “so many things have to go right for the final result of this journey to be a baby.”
“That’s why I’ve called this ‘my remarkable miracle,’ because it really does feel like I’ve been the recipient of some very enormous favor from God above,” the star told the outlet.
Mariah Carey
Affectionately known as “Dem Kids,” Mariah Carey defied expectations when she gave birth to her twins Moroccan and Monroe with then-husband Nick Cannon at the age of 41. That said, according to the “All I Want for Christmas is You” songstress, she never saw herself stepping into motherhood as a child. That changed after welcoming her twins April 30, 2011.
“Pulling them away from me is so hard,” Carey said of her twins. “It’s unconditional love, and I never, ever thought I was going to have kids – ever… I remember as a child saying ‘I’m never going to get married; I’m never going to have kids,’” she told OUT.

Uzo Aduba
“My daughter. I’ve never been in love so quickly, so deeply in my entire life. I really don’t know what to say, guys. My heart is full. Thank you, God. I have joy like a fountain. I have witnessed a miraculous thing, and I feel blessed to know you are ours. We love you so much, Adaiba Lee Nonyem — Daughter of the people, treasurer of the mother’s names who came before you,” Award-winning actress Uzo Aduba wrote in a heartfelt post after giving birth at 43 years old back in 2023. “I’m a Mommy you guys.”
We couldn’t have said it better ourselves, so we let that mama do the talking.
Gabrielle Union

Gabrielle Union welcomed her daughter, Kaavia James Union Wade, via surrogate with husband Dwyane Wade at 46 years old. She’s also stepmother to Wade’s three children: Zaire, Zaya, and Xavier. That said, her journey to motherhood wasn’t easy, as the “Bring It On” actress revealed she’s had more miscarriages than she “could confidently count” due to undiagnosed adenomyosis — a condition where the uterine lining grows into the muscular wall of the uterus, per TIME. Today, she couldn’t be happier, and in fact, she wishes she’d started sooner.
“People always ask, ‘Is it worth it? Having kids later in life? There’s a lot that goes into that answer,” Union began in an instagram post. “But in a nutshell: hell yeah, it’s been worth it.”
Iman

Bombshell supermodel Iman had her first child in her 20s, but when she and fellow superstar David Bowie tied the knot, she welcomed her second child at the age of 45. “The difference between rearing a child in your 20s and one in your 50s is one of patience,” Iman told Parade in a 2009 interview.

But it was remarkable.”
