(The Root) -- Are you concerned that you won't be able to afford college for your child, amid uncertain economic times and rising tuition costs? There's tons of advice on saving money, finding scholarships, using the right tax breaks, etc. On the Feb. 4, 2013, episode of The Root Live, our experts offered tips for how to wade through it all.

Martha Kanter, undersecretary at the U.S. Department of Education; Michael Lomax, president and CEO of United Negro College Fund; and student Corey Arvinger, who started the 4 for 14,000 campaign to help fund his education at Howard University, all spoke to host Harriette Cole about the issue. Watch what they had to say below, and tune in right here on Mondays at noon to watch the show live.
