After Democrats were delivered a resounding defeat this midterm election season, President Barack Obama asked the next Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to the White House to hash out their differences over bourbon—a meeting that is still in the planning stages

The offer sparked speculation across the Internet about the potential outcome of the meeting. Last night Saturday Night Live answered the call, offering a parody of just how things could turn out.

SNL regular Jay Pharoah played the president, while Taran Killam played the senator from Kentucky during an evening that involved lots of bourbon, Doritos, pizza, a scolding by first lady Michelle Obama and a prank call to Hillary Clinton.

Actor Woody Harrelson served as guest host, and Kendrick Lamar was the musical guest.
