At 34, supermodel Liya Kebede is still high in demand on the runway and in magazines -- she most recently walked the catwalk at Zac Posen's Spring/Summer 2013 show and appeared in a fashion spread for the New York Times' T Magazine. It's a wonder, though, that she finds time for her modeling career. A World Health Organization goodwill ambassador for maternal, newborn and child health, the Ethiopian-born Kebede is fully invested in the fight for medical care for mothers and children in her native country and beyond. She continues her fight for the cause through her Liya Kebede Foundation. The mother of two launched a clothing line, Lemlem, to inspire economic independence in Ethiopia -- the fabrics are woven by local artisans. She is also an up-and-coming film actress.
