Audie Cornish makes our list this year because of her media profile as the temporary co-host of NPR's flagship program, All Things Considered, which is broadcast globally. Cornish was previously host of the network's Weekend Edition Sunday show. On All Things Considered, she is filling in for Michele Norris, whose husband, Broderick Johnson, became senior adviser on the staff of President Barack Obama's 2012 re-election campaign. Prior to both positions, Cornish reported from Capitol Hill for NPR News, specializing in financial-industry policy.
