Wyclef Jean constantly reinvents himself. In 1992 he teamed with Lauryn Hill and his cousin Pras Michel to form the Fugees, creating the multiplatinum album The Score. In 1997 Jean recorded the first of eight solo albums, and in 2002 he founded the Yéle Haiti Foundation to provide humanitarian aid for his native country. Jean was set to run for president of Haiti in 2010 until the nation's Provisional Electoral Council ruled that he didn't meet residency requirements.
