As CEO of Operation HOPE, Bryant preaches business empowerment, recently worked with Desmond Tutu and serves President Barack Obama on the President's Advisory Council on Financial Capability. Next up: the Gallup HOPE Financial Literacy Index, a report measuring the "economic energy" of America's youth. "There is a difference between being broke and being poor," Bryant says. "Being broke is a temporary economic situation, but being poor is a disabling frame of mind."
