Black HIV/AIDS "change agents" honored:  In Washington, D.C., where the International AIDS Conference is taking place this week, IMPACT  recognized 15 activists, community leaders, scholars and elected officials who have given of their time and talent to contribute to the global fight against HIV/AIDS. Honorees included Larry Bryant of Housing Works/DC Fights Back, Dr. Ayana Elliot of Unity Healthcare, Lisa Bediako of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation and Dr. LaRon Nelson at the University of Toronto. Special recognition was given to high-profile advocates Magic Johnson, Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) and Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.).
A shocking numbers of voters still think President Obama is Muslim:  The first problem is that so many people think this would be a problem if it were true. The second one is that such a large chunk of the electorate can't seem to process the facts.
