Battle for Rap (and School) Supremacy
Flanked by fellow H.U. contestants Theo Hollingsworth and OC, rapper Trigga Tay reps for H.U. on the mic at The Root‘s Rap Battle, which went down Saturday at D.C.’s RFK Stadium, at the official tailgating party for the AT&T Nation’s Football Classic — a gridiron showdown between Howard University and Morehouse College.
The finalists, Howard’s OC and Morehouse’s Bship Grady, duke it out as Fonzworth Bentley, who hosted the battle along with DJ Angie Ange, looks on.
And the Winner Is …
OC beat out Bship Grady for the win.
After the amateur rappers left, Da Brat — accompanied by Jermaine Dupri — took over the AT&T Soundstage.
