Bush, The Lincoln Bedroom, and Me

It is easy to judge George Bush, but when you compare Lincoln's policy of total war against the Confederacy, you see his actions are pale in comparison. The sad part is the Civil War could have been prevented. Slavery would have died out within 20-25 years without over a million lives (military and civilian) being lost. Lincoln is certainly a man of mixed accomplishments.
