Hi

While I agree that this being Root, the discussion is primarily on black n white race relations, it would be refreshing if something was said abt non-black race relations too.
Because gen Y is NOT colourblind when it comes to other races that do not have such eloquent, resonant and personable faces to them as does the black race in America. I have been at the receiving end of racism for being Asian at the hands of countless whites -not just the despicable core European nationals but also Americans and Brits - and the Japanese!
Maybe you could shine a harsh light on treatment meted out to people such as me and turn racial debate on its head.
