  Powerful might be an overstatement. Through the eyes of an Obama supporter, of course the ad is encouraging and uplifting. However, if one were to view the ad through the prism of a republican's mindset, would the ad still be as effective? I think not. I doubt this ad will sway or generate large amounts of support for brother Obama from the right.

  Yesterday I saw a Bumper sticker that said, "REPUBLICANS FOR OBAMA."
  I don't have an affiliation, (I lean toward Democrat) but I just have a strong feeling about Barack.
