Terrific article by one of our best writers, thinkers and speakers.
Regarding Oprah, I think she is the best person in America. She is unstintingly generous with her time, energy and money. She has probably raised the consciousness of more Americans than anyone living, with her book clubs, medical information and her presentation of different spiritual paths. And, she's funny. Lovely article by one of our best thinkers and speakers.
I think Oprah is the best living example of goodness, generosity and selflessness in America. Considering that her start in life could have produced a bitter person, she is nothing short of miraculous.

This article has to be one of the biggest jokes I've every read on MLK. So Martin is now a huge transexual fan and would promote that lifestyle in his childs classroom? You are shameless. -

Of course it's impossible to know what Dr. King would actually say today if he were still alive. However, if he did say all of this, I think I'd be pretty pleased. According to this conjecture, his personal, spiritual, and political life and views have developed along lines that are similar to my own. Except for the fact that he was courageous and I tend to the scaredy-cat side of life. -

I'm glad Dr. King is not alive to witness your praise of America's number 1 consumer cheerleader. Oprah Winfrey. Oprah Winfrey, the paramour of the man who received half a million dollars from the RNC to recruit more African Americans into the GOP. Oprah winfrey who hosted both Schwartzniger and Obams on her show. Dr. King did not endorse or support any candidates, but worked with whoever was in power to move along our agenda.
Please stop the comparisons of Obama with King and Kennedy and tell us more than he can be the first "Black" president. How will that change my life?
