The populist message often makes me cringe. I do not so much mind, as you do, the class division argument, but i always remember Tom Watson (Agrarian Rebel) and his star turn in favor of lynching. Not much good for class or race issues.

Attention must also be paid to the areas along the Gulf Coast from Pensacola, Florida, through Mobile, Alabama to Biloxi, Mississippi. These cities have been obscured by New Orleans coverage, yet they still face many recovery challenges in the aftermath of hurricanes Katrina and Rita as well. It would be great to see the Democrat presidential nominee travel along the Gulf Coast to bring attention everywhere it is needed, and not only in New Orleans.
