Sounding more impassioned than he has since saying he was looking to “kick ass” during the BP oil spill, President Obama held a press conference at the White House today to talk about his controversial new tax package.

This piece of legislation -- one in which our government takes a proactive approach to saving taxpayer dollars -- is one that, one would imagine, the fiscally responsible Tea Party movement is supporting en masse. Alas, after I contacted three national Tea Party organizations, none responded to my requests for comment.
