Haitian-American filmmaker Michele Stephenson traveled to Haiti on behalf of the National Black Programming Consortium to capture the struggles of Haitians a year after the devastating Jan. 12, 2010, earthquake. From more than 60 hours of footage, many stories were crafted for NBPC's television series AfroPoP and for the Web. In this video, a medical student shares her story.
