President Obama's Health Care Overhaul Extends Life of Medicare

Say what you will about President Obama's health care overhaul, but it looks as if the life of the Medicare hospital insurance fund will be extended for an additional 12 years because of it. In order for that to happen, huge savings must occur, but if President Obama's plan is followed, then the fund will not expire in 2017, as predicted last year. Perhaps some of the older members of Congress who voted against the bill will now see the value in the overhaul, since it will help the elderly. Nah, they don't need Medicare.
