Obama: Fight for DREAM Act Not Over

The Associated Press is reporting that President Barack Obama says the failure to get Congress to pass the DREAM Act may be his "biggest disappointment." Obama says these children grow up like other kids in America, only to find themselves under a "shadow of fear" through no fault of their own. He says anyone who knows any of these young immigrants would want to help them. Obama faces stiff resistance from Republicans who want tougher immigration laws. Obama says that he is determined to make immigration reform happen. Republicans are also committed to immigration reform -- just not the type of reform that helps "illegal" immigrants become legal citizens.
