Flanked by the Rev. Al Sharpton, NAACP President and CEO Ben Jealous and others, Barack Obama signed into law the new White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans Executive Order in the Oval Office on Thursday, July 26.
The executive order focuses on strengthening the education that black youths receive in the United States.
