Five-Time Champion Venus Williams Upset at Wimbledon

Venus Williams has been eliminated from Wimbledon. She was upset by 82nd-ranked Tsvetana Pironkova, who convincingly disposed of Venus 6-2, 6-3. Second-seeded Venus Williams made an abundance of unforced errors and double faults in the biggest upset of the women's tournament. Defending champion Serena Williams advanced, disposing of Li Na, 7-5, 6-3.
