I don't agree w/everything he says,but he has more than earned the right to keep speaking his mind until the end of his days. 1st black actor to star in a prime-time TV series("I Spy"),4 prime-time Emmy awards,7 Grammy awards for comedy albums,2 Grammy awards for children's records,co-creator of "The Electric Company",creator/writer of "Fat Albert & the Cosby Kids",M.A. & Ph.d in Education from U.Mass/Amherst,writer/director of "Let's Do It Again"& "Uptown Saturday Night"(ever wonder where the name 'Biggie Smalls' came from? Cosby invented it for that movie!),and of course the creator/writer of "The Cosby Show",which positively changed the image of Black Americans for the rest of the world! And this is just a brief re-cap...
Now obviously,this is a man who is not an idiot or a clown. This guy has been teaching through his comedy for DECADES!! What have YOU ever done,"Twik"? Nothing worthwhile,I'm sure. Cos will go down in history as a great man & all the other fools who disapprove of him speaking his mind....well,they'll just go down. I have grown up w/hiphop my whole life,since it began in the late 70's. And anybody w/perspective can see that most of the mainstream "rap" music today is pure garbage. Strictly formulaic,meant to entice small-minded followers. If "The Cosnerati" can bring an alternative,then More Power to 'em! That's Original Recipe hiphop. Why do we even bother with this clown at this stage of the game? Bill Cosby has become a rather restless soul - almost shiftless, I might add! I can't understand why ordinary black folks who are quite willing to challenge racism, stereotypes, biases in all their forms are giving this idiot a pass. Are we that desperate for role models? Let Cosby move on to other targets; Let him take on Hispanics or Native Americans for their lack of "personal responsibility" - let him ridicule their names, speech patterns and manner of dress. I'm sure some mainstream supremacist groups out there will honor him for that bravery.

I watched the video - and I do hope that this can be positive in our children's life. And we don't have to go off on what Bill Cosby has said in the past or what he meant when he said it. Or if he is hated by someone and loved by another. Just staying to topic anymore on post is hard to do. I for one hope this endeavor is a good one.
