Amy Winehouse Found Dead at 27
According to the Daily Mail, BBC and other outlets, troubled soul singer Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London home today. She was 27. The cause of death is unknown.
The British-born recording artist became an international sensation with the 2006 release of her second album, Back to Black, which won five Grammy Awards. Winehouse's struggles with substance abuse were legendary. Indeed, one of her biggest hits, "Rehab," is about saying "no, no, no" to professional help for her addiction. Last month she canceled a European tour after she "seemed out of it" at a concert in Serbia.
