Touré (Twitter)

(The Root) -- A screenshot taken during Touré's MSNBC show The Cycle, bearing the official announcement "Whitey found guilty," has been floating around the Internet.

Condemned for years in the public eye by citizens, activists and entertainers, Whitey was convicted today of first-degree hoodwinking and bamboozling. The fruits of our ancestors' labor have finally paid off. There is no word yet on how black America will be celebrating, but we anticipate months of block parties, parades and re-enactments of the "A Brand New Day" performance from The Wiz.

Wait ... this just in: The "Whitey" in question was actually Whitey Bulger, notorious Boston mobster. We saw the picture and noticed the look on Touré's face and just assumed that it meant ... you know.

Anyway, Twitter had a jolly good time with this screenshot. Check out some of the giggles below, and send our regards to the person on the production team who made all this possible.
