Michelle Obama on Health Care
The first lady is talking health care, trying to rally the ladies to get on the horn to their congressmen and make a change. I guess it couldn't hurt, but I wonder if there is too much confusion around the president's message on reform to disperse different messengers. That is, I wonder if we shouldn't just be focusing on President Obama to give Americans the skinny on healthcare. I think people want to hear the president give a singular coherent message that makes sense. But at this point, he probably needs all the help he can get. Vice President Joe Biden is also scheduled to start talking up the reform plan, but having him on the mic talking about anything important? Well, that seems like a recipe for disaster to me. Michelle Obama couldn't do any worse than Biden.
