Beyoncé Raps About Elevator Incident in ‘Flawless’ Remix Featuring Nicki Minaj

Maybe Beyoncé should think about a career in rap music?

Beyoncé is getting really good at dropping music without any promotion. Late Saturday night, the artist known to many as Queen Bey dropped a remix to “Flawless,” which featured Nicki Minaj. Sunday morning the Internet was abuzz with one particular line from the highly Auto-Tuned track.

“Of course sometimes s–t goes down when there’s a billion dollars on an elevator,” Beyoncé rapped. Not only did she say it once, but she said it twice. You know, just for emphasis. Oddly enough, Beyoncé sounds better than most female rappers out there nowadays (ahem, Iggy Azalea).

In May the world was shocked when leaked video footage showed Solange attacking Jay Z in an elevator after a Met Gala event.

Days later the family issued this statement:

Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family. The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false. At the end of the day families have problems and we’re no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We’ve put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same.
