No one ever said racists were smart. And as a matter of fact, a 2012 research study published in Psychological Science showed that people who score low on IQ tests are more likely to develop prejudiced beliefs and socially conservative politics in adulthood. So the correlation between being dumb and being racist isn’t that far-fetched.
Most recently, a white supremacist by the name of Preston Wiginton thought he’d be a smart-ass and argue that there should be a WAACP to rival the NAACP.
“If we want to have a white state, or a white community or a white homeland we should be able to have that,” Wiginton said. “We respect that for all people. If we look at the NAACP, black people have the right to have that. Why can’t white people have a WAACP?”
Now, we all know that the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is a civil rights organization founded in 1909 to fight prejudice, lynching and Jim Crow segregation, and to work for the betterment of “people of color.”
But maybe we do need a WAACP. The White Association for the Advancement of Colored People definitely has a ring to it. And with all the white social-justice warriors in the world today, it could actually work.
The WAACP wouldn’t involve white supremacists like the dolt who thought he was being smart—just a bunch of do-good white people who are willing to stand up to their racist counterparts. You know, all of those people who were crying buckets of tears when they realized Hillary Clinton lost the election? Or those white people who always proclaim, “I have black friends!” Or better yet, those white people who love appropriating the culture of colored people.
The WAACP would be a notable organization. It could work toward not only equal rights but also getting rid of the deplorables of the world. And it could take the burden of doing all the grunt work off of black people’s shoulders. The WAACP makes a lot of sense because even in some black people’s eyes, “If it ain’t white, it ain’t right.”
So who’s going to start the WAACP? We’re waiting.
