Actually, Mr. President, College Isn’t for Everyone

In his State of the Union, Obama talked up college education as a plus for all children. But not everyone should get a degree.

We need to adjust the way we talk about attending college, the same way that we need to adjust how we talk about becoming a parent. Not everyone is meant to do it, and our leaders—including Obama—could change the face of our nation for the better if they would start admitting it.
