New York Republican congressional candidate George Demos released a new ad on Monday comparing President Barack Obama and incumbent Democrat Rep. Tim Bishop to Toronto Mayor Rob Ford.

"Tired of politicians?" the narrator says before the screen flashes with side-by-side images of the three men. The male voice-over then invites voters to "look at George Demos," who is "not a politician" and "knows the good guys from the bad."

Rob Ford is the Canadian politician who openly confessed to smoking crack. But his exact connection to the two American politicians was not touched upon in the ad.
