“We had constant run-ins on the soccer field. He wasn’t very good and resented it. When we finally moved to America, I thought it would be over.” –President Obama on Donald Trump
Highlight: The real president showed up on Jay Leno’s show Wednesday night. The conversation covered a range of topics, from the World Series to his less-than-steller first debate performance to his 20-year marriage to the first lady. About the latter, he revealed his secret of marital success: “With Michelle, I just concede every point. That’s why we celebrated our 20th anniversary.” And he even had jokes for Donald Trump; Obama quipped that the duo had beef since growing up in Kenya together. The night wasn’t all zingers, though. Obama covered his various political talking points, including the economy and troop withdrawal from Afghanistan. Watch the first part of the interview below and the other segments here.
